In which, Far Eastern Polytex (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., belong to Far Eastern Group increased capital by 610 million USD to expand the project of producing polyester synthetic fiber products, spinning products in Bau Bang Industrial Park.

Our Comment:

Far Eastern's project will make the garment industry in Binh Duong, which has been developed for a long time, become more vibrant, making the garment supply chain in Binh Duong more and more complete. However, currently, according to the provincial planning, Bau Bang Industrial Park is capable of receiving industries with high pollution levels such as industries with dyeing, plating, leather shoes, etc.

Therefore, the expansion of Far Eastern's production will limit the reception of industries with wastewater in Bau Bang when the wastewater treatment plant of Bau Bang Industrial Park is already operating at full capacity.
