Following the success of VSIP in the South; in 2007, VSIP continued to expand to the North. On December 11th, 2007, VSIP officially commenced the VSIP – Bac Ninh project in Tu Son District, Bac Ninh Province with the presence of Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam at the time – Mr. Hoang Trung Hai and Senior Minister of Singapore – Mr. Goh Chok Tong.

With an area of 700 hectares, of which 500 hectares is devoted to developing a clean industrial park, with environmental standards and advanced production technology, VSIP – Bac Ninh has been an ideal location for: electronics, pharmaceutical products, automobile accessories, precision engineering, consumer goods and logistics. The 200 hectares of urban area will include commercial projects, hotels, supermarkets, schools, offices, sports facilities, housing and high – end condominium.

VSIP – Bac Ninh has attracted 122 domestic and foreign investors with a total investment of 2.2 billion USD and created jobs for 30,000 workers.

VSIP – Bac Ninh has also successfully developed Belhomes Urban Area with a total area of 5.7 hectares. The project has a total of 365 townhouses and shophouses designed according to Singapore’s standards for modern and environmentally – friendly.
