The People's Committee of Vinh Long province has just issued Decision No. 3124/QD-UBND approving the construction zoning planning at the scale of 1/2000 Binh Tan Industrial Park, Binh Tan District, Vinh Long Province, with a scale of 400 hectares.
Specifically, the planned location is in Tan Quoi town and Thanh Loi commune, Binh Tan district, Vinh Long province. Planning boundary: North of the industrial park borders with residential land and planning land for resettlement areas and workers' houses of the industrial park, the South borders on residential land and National Highway 54, the East borders on residential land along Hai Quy canal. , the West borders on residential land and National Highway 54.

The planning objective is to concretize the construction planning of Vinh Long province to 2030 with a vision to 2050, sectoral plans and socio-economic development orientations of the province. Create a legal basis for planning for project implementation, construction investment, construction management and investment attraction,...

After completion, the industrial park will arrange industrial types such as: Processing agricultural products - food, processing vegetables and fruit products; consumer goods industry, textiles, handicrafts; mining industry and production of building materials; warehousing, services and some other industries with less environmental pollution, etc.

The industrial park has a total area of ​​400 ha, located in Tan Quoi town (76.72 ha) and Thanh Loi commune (323.28 ha), Binh Tan district. In which, the area of ​​land for factories and enterprises is more than   273 ha. In which, it is forecast that 1 hectare of land for factories and enterprises needs about 50 workers. It is forecast that the number of workers and workers for the industrial park will be about 13,660 people.

Regarding land use planning: Land for factories, factories and warehouses (more than 279 hectares); land for inland wharf (nearly 2.8 ha); operating and service land (more than 6 ha); green land (more than 41 ha); water surface (more than 6 hectares); land for technical infrastructure zones (more than 4 ha); traffic land (more than 59 ha).

It is expected to arrange a resettlement area and housing for workers located on the northwest border of the industrial park with a scale of more than 32 hectares. Currently, the task of detailed construction planning at the scale of 1/500 of Binh Tan Industrial Park's resettlement area has been approved and is being planned.

According to the previous approval, the total investment capital for the construction of the project's technical infrastructure is expected to be about 2,900 billion VND, from the capital of socialization, calling for investment and the state budget.
