Van Thang industrial park located in Van Thang commune, Van Ninh district (Located in the north of Van Phong economic zone) has been approved detailed planning by Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee with a scale of 144.42ha in Decision No. 1626/ QD-UBND dated 12/8/2005.

In 2008, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province had a policy of making an agreement for Vietnam Star Joint Stock Company and Tradco Global Enginering & Construction SA (TGEC) to allow planning and unified adjustment into a Hi-tech Park with the 200 hectares to attract clean industrial projects, high technology. However, up to now, the investor has not implemented the project, so there is a policy to terminate the project. Van Thang Industrial Park belongs to the research and development area of Bac Van Phong Special Economic Zone, so it has not called for new investment.

located in the north of Van Phong EZ, in Van Thang and Van Khanh communes, Van Ninh district, next to National Highway 1A; 65 km from Nha Trang City; 90 km from Cam Ranh International Airport, 50 km from Tuy Hoa Airport, Phu Yen Province, about 30 km from Van Phong International Transshipment Port; 5km from Tu Bong station.
