Formerly the Soai Rap Petroleum Service Industrial Park with an area of 285 hectares, the investor is Vinashin Group.

The industrial park was renamed by the Prime Minister and has the function of Soai Rap Shipbuilding Industrial Park into Soai Rap Petroleum Service Industrial Park with the function of being a specialized industrial zone serving the oil and gas industry in Document No. 1983/TTg-KTN dated January 1st. 11/2010 and was granted the decision to establish the industrial zone by the Provincial People's Committee in 2011 by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Construction Corporation as an investor.

The industrial park filled 13.08% of the industrial land area with 01 project, registered investment capital of 2,175,595 billion VND.

 

On August 9, 2018, at a meeting with the leaders of Tien Giang province, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc made a decision to agree with the policy for the Petroleum Group to transfer the Soai Rap Petroleum Service Industrial Park. Tien Giang province continues to manage and use.

 

This is an industrial park with a very convenient location in developing the marine economy and especially for Vietnam's oil and gas industry.
