1.1. INFORMATION ABOUT QUANG TRI:

Quang Tri province is in the North Central Region of Vietnam, bordering Quang Binh province to the North, Thua Thien Hue province to the South, Lao to the West, and the East borders to the East Sea.

 Total area: 4701 Km2 , Population: 650,000 people.

Quang Tri has a strategic location on the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC), plays an important link to the corridor which is spread over 13 provinces of 4 countries, stretching 1,450 km distance.

The province plays an important role in the socio-economic linkages between the North and the South, promoting the socio-economic development and expanding international cooperation in the Greater Mekong Subregion.

1.2. INFORMATION ABOUT QUANG TRI INDUSTRIAL PARK

Quang Tri Industrial Park is the joint venture of three experienced industrial park developers comprising Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park J.V Co., Ltd (“VSIP JV”), Amata City Bien Hoa Joint Stock Company and Sumitomo Corporation.

The project is in Hai Lang district, Quang Tri province, has a total area of 481.2 ha with the initial development phase comprising 97.4 ha. The project was mooted by Vietnam’s central government to catalyze economic development in Quang Tri province as a future economic hub along the East-West Economic Corridor linking Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Myanmar. Quang Tri Industrial Park is expected to contribute to the local socio-economic development, strongly promote industrial and service development in Quang Tri province and create thousands of new job opportunities.

Quang Tri Industrial Park has a strategic location, alongside important national traffic axes such as national highway 1A, and the North-South national railway.  National Highway 15 D will cut through Quang Tri Industrial Park in the future and connect the project with My Thuy deep-water Seaport, North-South expressway and La Lay international border gate.

5. TAX INCENTIVES

CORPORATE INCOME TAX:

Quang Tri Industrial Park is located in a difficult socio-economic area, eterprises in Quang Tri Industrial Park will enjoy tax incentives as follows:

  • 17% applicable for the first 10 years from the first year the enterprise has revenue
  • 2-year tax exemption commencing from the first profitable year and 50% tax reduction in the 4 subsequent years.

IMPORT TAX:

Exemption for import tax on equipment, machinery, spare parts, automobile,  materials to be used as fixed assets of investment projects

6. LAND RENTAL PRICE
