Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh signed a decision approving the investment policy of the construction and business infrastructure investment project of Nam Tan Tap Industrial Park, Long An province.

The project has a land use scale of more than 244 hectares in Tan Tap commune, Can Giuoc, Long An, invested by Saigontel Long An Co., Ltd. The total investment capital of the project is 2,590 billion VND, of which the investor's contributed capital is 440 billion VND.

The project's operation period is 50 years from the date of decision on investment policy. Investors are only allowed to implement the project after the environmental impact assessment report is approved by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

The project implementation schedule must not exceed 36 months from the date of land handover.

Saigontel Long An was established in February 2021, with a charter capital of 450 billion VND, by Saigon Telecommunications Technology Joint Stock Company (Saigontel, HoSE: SGT) of giant Dang Thanh Tam (contributing 337.5 billion VND, equivalent to 75 billion VND). % of total charter capital) cooperation Saigon - Hai Phong Industrial Park Joint Stock Company.

Previously, at the end of December 2020, the Prime Minister issued a decision to adjust the planning of industrial zones in Long An province.

Specifically, the Prime Minister agreed to take Long Hau 3 Industrial Park (767 ha) in Can Giuoc district out of the planning for development of Vietnam's industrial zones by 2020, adding 3 expanded IPs to the plan (including expanded Hoa Binh Industrial Park). with an area of ​​49 hectares in Thu Thua district, Long Hau Industrial Park phase 2 expanded with an area of ​​90 hectares in Can Giuoc district and Xuyen A Industrial Park phase 3 with an area of ​​177 hectares in Duc Hoa district).

At the same time, 3 new industrial zones were added to the plan, including Saigon - Mekong Industrial Park (area of ​​200 hectares in Ben Luc District), Tan Tap Industrial Park (654 hectares in Can Giuoc District) and Loc Giang Industrial Park (466 hectares in 3 areas). commune in Duc Hoa district).
